Payment Method: Payments can only be made via direct debit.
Monthly Fees: All fees must be paid at the beginning of each month.
Defaulting Accounts: If any amounts owed remain unpaid for more than three weeks after the due date, VOICE By Yvonne O'Toole reserves the right to suspend the student’s tuition until payment is received. Students with outstanding balances will not be permitted to sit exams or participate in any performances.
Payment Consistency: Inconsistent payment may result in permanent suspension from the academy.
Additional Fees: Fees for exams, competition entries, and merchandise must be paid directly to Yvonne. Notifications will be sent when these payments are due.
Student Cancellations: Lessons canceled by students cannot be deducted, refunded, or carried forward.
Teacher Cancellations: If Yvonne must cancel classes due to unavoidable circumstances, the class will be rescheduled, or a credit will be applied.
Attendance and Punctuality: It is important that students attend regularly and arrive on time to ensure their enjoyment and success. If you are unable to attend your lessons it is required that you notify Yvonne via email.
Drop-off and Collection: Parents/guardians are expected to drop off and collect their children at the appointed times. The academy does not provide supervision before or after lesson times.
Timetable Changes: The academy reserves the right to make changes to class timetables.
Discussing Student Progress: If you wish to discuss your child’s progress or any other relevant issues: For one-on-one students, please do so at the beginning of your child’s lesson if one-on-one, not during the next student’s lesson. Alternatively, you can contact Yvonne via email & she will be more than happy to arrange a call. Please avoid WhatsApp or text messages as these can be lost due to phone updates. Email is preferred for tracking communication.
Exams: An external accompanist will be hired for exams. VOICE BY YVONNE O’TOOLE does not cover the cost of rehearsals or accompaniment on the day.
Performance Media: Photos and videos of student performances are regularly taken for the website and social media purposes during concert performances.
Student Behavior: Students are expected to behave appropriately while on the premises, showing respect for fellow students, teachers, equipment, resources, and facilities.
Communication: All parent contact details are automatically added to our Student Mailing List to keep you updated with information, timetables, and important dates - PLEASE turn on your notifications as to not to miss these emails.
Withdrawals and Refunds: If a student decides to withdraw their from class, fees cannot be refunded. In cases of closure due to exceptional circumstances beyond management control (e.g., adverse weather, government-mandated closures), refunds cannot be processed. All classes will be frozen until we can safely reopen, with all spaces and fees secured.
Cancellation Notice: To cancel your position with VOICE BY YVONNE O'TOOLE, at least four weeks’ notice is required. Otherwise, full payment for the following month will be due.
